The Williamsville Central School District has taken action against three students believed to have made threats to harm Williamsville North High School.

According to Gary Collichio, principal of Williamsville North, the students allegedly made threats Wednesday morning off-campus while on their school bus. A student overheard the conversation and notified school officials, who alerted Amherst Police and the parents of the three students involved.

Police visited the home of each student and determined the threat was not credible, according to Collichio.

The students are currently not in school, the district said.

School officials remind students to always report any suspicious activity.
