In the good old days there were plenty of dairies that bottled milk in real glass bottles. These days there is only one here in Western New York and that's Hoover's Dairy in Sanborn. The family run business has been at it since 1920.

Rob Hoover, a fourth generation member of this operation says that when it comes to milk, bottles are better, adding "I think it tastes a lot better, it's better for the environment. Bottles are porous so you're not getting other tastes and it keeps colder and fresher."

Customers rave about the dairy's strawberry and chocolate milk too. The bottling is only half the story. Hoover Dairy still makes home deliveries with a real milk truck. Eighteen year old Robbie Hoover, Rob's son, is a fifth generation milkman. His day starts as early as 4:30am and he makes deliverers all over Niagara County.

The dairy will soon celebrate it's 100th anniversary. You can visit them in person at 6030 Hoover Rd. in Sanborn.
