Sources tell 7 Eyewitness News a suspended Buffalo Police officer has survived a second heroin overdose.

According to our sources, emergency crews were called to a home on Dorrance Avenue around 9am on Monday after Michael Moffett's girlfriend found him unresponsive on a couch.

When first responders arrived, they found Moffett unconscious. They responders were able to revive the suspended Buffalo Police officer by administering Narcan.
Our sources say this is the second time since February the officer has overdosed on the drug.

Moffett has been on unpaid suspension from the department since his first overdose.
