Developers are wasting no time getting to work on a new vision for the now-former Women and Children's Hospital in the Elmwood Village.
Ellicott Development and Sinatra & Company have teamed up to acquire the seven-acre site along Bryant Street.
Plans call for investing upward of $110 million over the next three to four years to develop 'Elmwood Crossing,' a community within a community that will feature condos, townhomes and apartments as well as a hotel, grocery store and daycare center.
Renderings for the project will be released around the time of a community meeting on the massive project, which is expected to take place by March.
Kaleida Health named Ellicott and Sinatra the designated developers in July, abruptly dropping Ciminelli Real Estate from the project.
