Elmwood Village shop owners are gearing up for the most wonderful time of the year, also one of the most profitable times of the year.
“It's not just a mad grab, said Therese Deutschlander, the owner of Thin Ice. “It's more about enjoying the holiday, enjoying your family members and enjoying the time that you're spending.”
Stores up and down Elmwood Avenue are teaming up next week to try and attract more people to shop local. They're going to have extend hours on both Small Business Saturday as well as Black Friday. Many stores will be open from 10am-8pm.
“You're not just supporting me. You're supporting Emily. You're directly supporting Joe. You're directly supporting Esther. We can tell you exactly where your money is going and how amazing these people are and how much they deserve your business,” said Deutschlander.
