One man was killed and two children were injured in a two-car crash Friday night in Niagara County.
The Niagara County Sheriff's Office says Michael Buchalski II, 22 of Wilson, was heading northbound around 6:30 p.m. when he ran a stop sign at Dickerson and Youngstown-Wilson Roads in Ransomville. Buchalski's car struck a westbound vehicle driven by 38-year-old Michael Willimot of Wilson.
Buchalski was airlifted by Mercy Flight to ECMC for treatment. Willimot was taken to St. Mary's Hospital in Lewiston, where he was pronounced dead.
Two young passengers in Willimot's vehicle were taken to Women and Children's Hospital. The extent of their injuries is not known.
Investigators say charges against the driver of the northbound vehicle are pending.
