The school bus driver involved in a crash that hit and killed a seven year-old girl will not face criminal charges.

The Erie County Sheriff's Office tells 7 Eyewitness News the driver has been issued a ticket for "failure to excise due care."

Alyssa Hearn had just gotten off her bus last November when she became pinned underneath it on West Main Street in Springville.

The district attorney's office determined the driver was not impaired or distracted and no crime occurred.

A GoFundMe page setup to assist Alyssa's family with funeral, medical and other expenses has raised more than $50,000.
