Get ready for a new culinary destination set to open in the heart of Allentown this week.
The family behind the 'Rowhouse Bakery and Restaurant' gave 7EWN a tour of the establishment on Monday and we are giving viewers a "first look" inside.
The owners spent the last eighteen months in a multi-million dollar restoration of the former Lord Chumley's at 483 Delaware Avenue. The result is an eight thousand square foot marketplace that boasts everything from a cafe and bakery, to a cocktail lounge, and a full-service restaurant featuring woodfire grills.
"At Rowhouse we are a pace and a place for everyone", says co-owner Myriah Jaworski. "Whether you are a mom with your kids who wants to stop in for a cup of coffee. Whether your are on your first date and you want to have a formal dining experience, if you are going out with business colleagues and want to have a business lunch, we have spots for all of your needs."
"Our goal was when customers show up they can choose their own dining environment", said co-owner Sean Tuohey. "If people are in a hurry we have quick, healthy, fast paced delicious food. For others that want to hangout we offer difference spaces, nooks and crannies, where they can get comfortable.'
The Rowhouse Bakery and Restaurant will officially open its doors this Thursday at 7 a.m.
