A Rochester woman now admits to intentionally drowning her infant son.
Police have charged 25 year old Markiya Mitchell with second degree murder.
Police say they found her 10 month old son Jeremiah, unresponsive in a bathtub Monday afternoon.
The baby was taken to Rochester General Hospital where he was pronounced dead.
Mitchell was arraigned on the murder charge Tuesday morning in Rochester City Court.
She pleaded not guilty and was ordered held in jail without bail.
Police say Mitchell also has a 7-year-old child, who's currently in the care of a relative.
