It's safe to say, bees don't really bother Father Ryszard Biernat.

As a kid growing up in Poland, he discovered a book about bees.

"I was so inspired by it," said the Father, "that a year later I had saved enough money to buy a hive of my own. Since 6th grade I have been a bee-keeper."

Now he has a bunch of bees. There's no way to count them all, but he estimates 50,000 bees in his hive.

He even handles the bees and doesn't bother with the traditional bee-keeper suit.

The bee-keeper has gotten stung more than a few times.

"Probably 10,000 times, it still hurts but my body doesn't react to it anymore," said Father Ryszard.

The honey he gathers is bottled as Father Ryszard's Holy Honey.

You can pick-up Holy Honey a few places around town.
