ALBANY, NY ( WKBW ) Among the major pieces of legislation passed Friday night, the New York State Senate approved a modified version of the UB 2020 Plan.
The Bill was renamed "SUNY 2020" when lawmakers went for the vote.
According to Dennis Gabrysak, the proposal will help create a UB medical campus in downtown Buffalo. He says the plan will bring thousands of construction jobs and medical research facilities to the area.
