Gov. Andrew Cuomo "has all but declared war on a new enemy: Canada," says the Toronto Star.
The Star has a story this morning about the current dispute over the Peace Bridge. It details the efforts of William "Sam" Hoyt III, the vice chairman of the Buffalo and Fort Erie Public Bridge Authority, to get the chairman removed.
The chairman, Anthony Annunziata, is Canadian. Hoyt, a former assemblyman from Buffalo, is a member of the Cuomo administration.
Cuomo recently said the Peace Bridge is a "metaphor for dysfunction." The two sides have been disagreeing over efforts to expand the plaza on the New York side of the bridge.
