Buffalo police are investigating a shooting that happened near Kent Street and Sweet Avenue early Thursday morning.
Police and EMTs responded to the scene just before 3:30 a.m. The victim ended up at Geneva Street near Memorial Drive. A 7 Eyewitness News photographer found the scene at Geneva Street heavily taped off by police. An ambulance took one person away, followed by a police cruiser.
The 16-year-old Buffalo man is currently being treated at ECMC and is in stable condition, according to police. 7 Eyewitness News is awaiting a response from Buffalo police.
