An unidentified woman dropped off homemade "ground mats" to the Buffalo Police Department for homeless people to lay on to keep off the cold ground.
Police say the woman made the mats using plastic shopping bags. They've handed out a dozen or more already to homeless people they come across who don't want to go to a shelter.
The B District Office has about a dozen more to hand out the community.
