New York State Police arrested an Allegany County man Sunday for shooting an arrow through a neighbor's dog.

Troopers responded to a 911 call Saturday on Pangburn Road in the Town of Wirt. Investigators say the one-year-old Beagle/Labador mix entered Marvin Boncore's property while the dog's owner was fixing a nearby fence.

According to police, the 63-year-old shot the dog with an arrow in the leg. Boncore was later arrested and charged with Aggravated Cruelty to an Animal and Reckless Endangerment.

The dog was treated for multiple broken boned but is expected to survive.

A GoFundMe page setup to raise money for the dog's medical expenses says the dog belongs to an animal rescue called Rescue Pups. It says Clooney was attacked Saturday by a camper next door while she barked along the fence line.

The gofundme is asking for $10,000 in donations.
