Police are looking for the vandal responsible for damaging multiple pieces of equipment at an Allegany County fire department.

Some overnight between December 20-21, someone broke into the Clarksville Volunteer Fire Company and spray painted vulgarities on gear, helmets, and fire trucks.

7 Eyewitness News blurred out the vulgarities, which is why you will see what look like red smudges on some of the photos.

The fire company said in a statement on their Facebook page, “This will not keep us from providing our professional level of service.”

Anyone with information is being asked to call State Police. A reward of $1,500 is being offered for information leading to the culprit’s arrest.

"The outpouring of help and support from the brotherhood and community is astonishing. We will power through this and be even better, stronger and more proud than ever before," the fire company wrote on Facebook.

They are currently working on setting up a donation's page to help with the cost of the cleanup and replacement of damaged equipment.
