A woman is facing charges after police say she passed out while still behind the wheel of her pickup truck.

Orchard Park Police say they found 43-year-old Kathleen Riggi parked in plaza on South Abbot Road around 2 p.m. on Saturday afternoon.

Police say Riggi seemed to be under the influence of drugs or alcohol and was unresponsive. Officers were able to wake her, at which point they say she became uncooperative and refused sobriety tests.

Police say Riggi fought with the officers as they tried to arrest her -- pushing, kicking, and spitting at them. She also threatened to kill the officers and their families.

Riggi is charged with DWI, obstruction of governmental administration, resisting arrest, and possession of prescription medication outside of their original container.

She was released on $200 bail and will reappear in Orchard Park Court on May 31.
