Buffalo Police are investigating a deadly shooing that happened late Sunday night.

Police say two people were shot on Howard Street near Madison Street around 11:30 p.m. One of the victims, a 25-year-old man, was shot several times.  He was taken to Buffalo General Medical Center to be treated, but then transferred to Erie County Medical Center where he died from his injuries. The second victim, a 27-year-old man, was treated and released from ECMC.

Buffalo Police are trying to determine whether the Howard Street shooting is related to another shooting incident that occurred nearby in around the same time. The second scene was at the intersection of Fillmore and Sycamore Avenue. One person told police that they were shot multiple times as they were driving down Madison Street.  That victim was taken to the hospital for treatment.
