Genesee County Sheriffs are looking for two suspects who donned frightening masks and robbed an Elba bank Tuesday afternoon.

Deputies said a teller at an M&T Bank branch on Oak Orchard Road called just after 2:30 p.m. to report the bank had been robbed.

The suspects were wearing face masks, gloves, and dark colored hoodies.

Deputies said the bank teller told them the suspects took off in a silver Dodge Stratus and headed northbound on Route 98.

Authorities believe they located the vehicle less than a mile from the bank. That's when they discovered the car had been reported stolen from the Spencerport Area and its license plates were stolen from the City of Rochester.

Deputies do not know exactly how much money was stolen, but they were able to recover a small amount of money abandoned by the suspects when a dye pack exploded.

The suspects remain on the loose, and the investigation is ongoing.
