PEMBROKE, N.Y. (WKBW) - State Police say a Marine Corps Captain helped lead them to three Buffalo men who allegedly took items out of a parked car.
The Captain called police Sunday after seeing the theft take place at the Pembroke service area on I-90 and provided troopers with a vehicle description and direction of travel.
Officers caught up to the vehicle a short time later on I-90 in the Town of Stafford.
Troopers say the three suspects had items taken from an earlier theft from a vehicle parked at the Clarion Hotel in Batavia, including credit cards and a laptop.
The following are charged with two counts of fourth degree grand larceny in Batavia and criminal possession of stolen property in the Town of Stafford:
Both McCullens were taken to the Genesee County Jail without bail while Elston is being held on $10,000 bail.
All three are due back in court next month.
