SHERMAN, N.Y. (WKBW) - A man was arrested for driving drunk after deputies stopped him on his Cub Cadet lawn mower late Thursday night.
Deputies pulled over 48-year-old Eric Lacross on Sherman Stedman Road in Sherman near his home around 10 o’clock Thursday night. Authorities say he was driving his lawn mower down the road with a trailer, but the lawn mower only had one operational tail light and there were no lights on the trailer.
Deputies say Lacross was drinking while driving the mower and he was arrested for DWI. A check of his driving history revealed two prior DWI convictions.
Lacross was charged with felony DWI, consuming alcohol in a motor vehicle, DWI per se, insufficient tail lamps, and lighting violation on a trailer.
