A 27-year-old man has been extradited to Allegany County to face charges of raping a 13-year-old youth.

State Police say last December, a rape case was opened with the victim who stated the abuse happened between October 2014 and April 2015. By that time, the suspect, Michael Turner, had moved to Tennessee.

Turner was arrested by the Campbell County Sheriff’s Office and extradited to New York State. He was charged Sunday with second degree rape, second degree sex abuse and acting in a manner injuring a child less than 17.

He’s being held in the Allegany County Jail on $100,000 bail.
