One person was taken to the hospital after a high-speed chase ended in Hamburg, early Thursday morning.
An eyewitness told our breaking news crew, he heard sirens outside his house about 5:00 a.m. Thursday. When he looked outside, he saw police officers and a yellow mustang that was wrecked.
According to the eyewitness, the driver took off running but was quickly arrested by deputies.
The driver was taken away in an ambulance.
We don't know what prompted the chase or what charges the driver might be facing.
We've reached out to deputies for more information but have not yet heard back.
