Buffalo Police are awaiting toxicology results after an accident Tuesday night left multiple people injured.
Police say two vehicles were traveling eastbound on East Ferry near Moselle Street just before 10 p.m. when a minivan struck another vehicle.
The minivan then struck a pole, four other vehicles and two pedestrians in a nearby parking lot.
According to police, the two occupants of the minivan fled the scene on foot but were located shortly thereafter.
Investigators say one of the pedestrians, a female, suffered serious physical injuries. Both pedestrians were transported to ECMC.
