Orchard Park Police responded to the Tabernacle parking lot on Southwestern Boulevard for reports of a domestic dispute between a mother and her son.

The incident happened Friday when 29-year-old Erik Roman, of Cheektowaga, broke his mother's phone and threatened her in the car.

While his mother left the car to call 911, Roman let the air out of the tires, according to authorities.

Officers say he resisted arrest and had to forcibly be subdued.

He's charged with criminal tampering, criminal mischief, and resisting arrest.

Roman was sent to Erie County Holding Center after being unable to post bail.
