Depew police are warning drivers to lock car doors and take valuables out of their cars.
Police say they've seen an uptick in thefts from cars in the area around Veterans Park in Depew.
Despite this recent surge, police say it could happen anywhere.
If you see anyone suspicious, you're told to call police.
