A woman is accused of driving under the influence of drugs with her toddler in her vehicle when she crashed, flipping the car onto the roof.

Deputies were called to Erie Road in Brant around 6:30am Tuesday morning after the driver of a vehicle went off the road into a ditch. The vehicle flipped, hit a mailbox and ended up on its roof.

When officers arrived, they say they found 30-year-old Alyssa Bishop of Fredonia and her 2-year-old daughter in the vehicle. Deputies say Bishop was impaired by drugs.

Bishop was charged with felony aggravated DWI under Leandra’s Law. She was taken to ECMC for treatment.

Her daughter was taken to Women and Children’s Hospital to be treated for non-life threatening injuries.
