It didn't take long for Olean Police to catch the alleged culprit who made off with a donation jar.
Officers took Richard Hopkins, 31, of Olean into custody Wednesday morning. Police say they received tips from Facebook, which led them to Hopkins.
Authorities he's the man in the video who you can see stealing a donation jar at Ried's Food Barn that is meant to raise money for the Food Pantry.
Hopkins is charged with one count of petit larceny and was taken to the Olean City Jail pending arraignment.
