Labatt USA's corporate headquarters is moving to the historic Cobblestone District building and will become a mixed use facility.
Pegula Sports and Entertainment (PSE) bought the Hi-Temp Fabrication Building. The Pegulas are now partnering with Labatt USA to redevelop the 77,000 square feet building with five floors.
The building sits next to the ground the Keybank Center at the corner of Illinois and Perry Streets.
The ground floor will house Labatt USA Headquarters, restaurant and brewery. Other parts of the building will be used for commercial and residential mixed used purposes.
“Just a no brainer for us. Terry really lobbied for years. It took us a while to get the building,” Kim Pegula, Co-owner of Pegula Sports and Entertainment said.
Current tenants of the property will be moving out within a matter of days. Renovations are expected to be completed for Labatt USA by Summer or Fall of 2018.
