Mark and Christina Rotondo are suing their 30-year-old son, Michael, after he is refusing to move out of their Syracuse home.

ABC News says despite five written notices from his parents, he will not leave the house.

The Rotondo's even offered him $1100 to find a place to stay.

Michael says his parents efforts are retaliatory and the notices did not provide him enough reasonable time to vacate.

Licensed Mental Health counselor, Nicole Mosey, says when it comes to adult children living with parent,  it's all about boundaries and creating an in-home agreement about finances and freedoms and sticking to it.

So whether that holding their kids accountable or stop paying their bills, Mosey says it's important to make reasonable expectations in order to have a healthy living environment.
