One person is dead after a two vehicle crash on Broadway in the Town of Alden.
According to the Erie County Sheriff's Office, the crash happened around 3 p.m. Monday. Deputies say a vehicle traveling eastbound crossed over the centerline and struck a vehicle heading westbound.
The eastbound vehicle rolled over. The driver, identified Tuesday morning as 53-year-old Clarence Bressette, of Attica, was pronounced dead at the scene.
A portion of Broadway, near Two Rod Road and Virginia Drive, was closed during the investigation.
