One person is dead after an overnight accident in the Town of Independence.
New York State Police say 19-year-old Dylan Mitchell was driving on Fulmer Valley Road on Saturday morning around 1 o'clock, when his vehicle struck a deer.
The vehicle went off road and down an embankment before striking large rocks and ending up in a creek.
Mitchell was pronounced dead at the scene and the passenger, 17-year-old Kami White, was airlifted to ECMC were she is in stable condition.
No other cars were involved in this accident.
