There may be no more perfect place to catch up with one of history's great men. The place is Echoes Through Time Civil War Museum and Learning Center. The man is Ulysses S. Grant.

The real General Grant led the North in the War Between The States and became our eighteenth president. His achievements have been left mostly to the history books are now brought to life by re-enactor Ed Brodbeck. He says "he was one of the catalysts for closing out the civil war"

It's the battles, memorabilia and personal stories that are remembered at Echoes Through Time. Executive Director Steve Teeft says the museum is the only one of it's kind in New York State and unique for another reason "half of our exhibits are under glass and half are not. We encourage touching."

Using the museum resources, many people visit the Echoes Through Time to research their family members who may have been involved in the Civil War.

The museum will present Ed Brodbeck March 31st at 7PM at Springville's Lucy Bensley Center. Admission is free. He will be discussing the Battle Of Shiloh. More information at about the museum at their website. And you can contact Grant Impersonator Ed Brodbeck at 716-626-9224
