Amherst Police came to the rescue Thursday morning when a doe got caught in a soccer net at Forest Elementary School on North Forest Road.
Police worked with Animal Control to free the deer. The Williamsville School District posted photos on its website Thursday. The deer ran away after it was freed from the net.
