The New York Civil Liberties Union filed a motion Wednesday to dismiss all remaining discrimination claims against McKinley High School Principal Crystal Boling-Barton.

The NYCLU says it is dropping the issue because the Buffalo Public School District has agreed to put in place a series of measures to protect the rights of LGBTQ students.

The NYCLU filed a lawsuit against the District in May 2017 on behalf of student Byshop Elliott, claiming Boling-Barton discriminated against LGBTQ students at McKinley.

Boling-Barton remains on paid administrative leave.
