Developers have a number of projects planned for Buffalo's Outer Harbor.
The Erie Canal Harbor Development Corporation is requesting a special use permit to create a bike park, events lawn area and trail system in the Outer harbor.
There are also plans to erect a story frame ticket booth and to restripe the existing parking area.
Developers say the public benefits include visual and physical access to the waterfront, conserved naturalized areas, quality of life improvements, and no increased demand for additional municipal services, utilities, or infrastructure.
These plans are being further discussed at a meeting happening Tuesday afternoon.
