A new school of hospitality will be housed in the C.W. Miller Livery Stable in downtown Buffalo.

The school will provide more opportunities for students in the hospitality, sports management, and hotel management industries in Buffalo.

City officials say the new school will build on the success of the Emerson School of Hospitality at 70 West Chippewa.

The C.W. Livery Stable was built back in 1892 and is on the National Register of Historic Places. The six-story building is more than 100,000 square feet and will undergo reconstruction later this year.

The school will have state-of-the-art kitchens, modern classrooms, science labs, a library and a gym.
