Buffalo Police say a drunk driver slammed into about a dozen vehicles over the weekend in a North Buffalo neighborhood.

Neighbors living near Hertel and Starin say it’s not the first time it has happened, and likely will not be the last. They believe most of the problems stem from one establishment.

The incident happened on Taft Place around 4 a.m., Saturday morning.

“We've had incidents like this before. This is by far the worst one, but what's it going to take before something else happens, something worse than this happens?” said one concerned neighbor.

“We've actually been waiting for something like this to happen, we knew this was going to happen. We’ve warned the city, we've told them to expect something like this. It's only a matter of time before someone gets killed,” said another concerned neighbor.

Residents blame years of rowdy behavior at the nearby Colonie Lounge, a cigar bar that features topless dancers.

Police have charged the driver responsible, 36-year-old Joshua Jones, with DWI, leaving the scene and driving without a license.

We spoke with the owner of Colonie Lounge who says their security guard tracked down Jones. They also tell 7 Eyewitness News that they encourage the neighbors to call them with any issues.
