7 Eyewitness News is excited to introduce you to the winner of our Mother's Day Makeover contest!
Katie Morski has suffered an enormous amount of loss in the past year and a half. Her husband passed away unexpectedly when she was eight months pregnant with their son. Since his passing, Katie has been raising now 14-month-old Leo as a single mom.
Katie's mother entered her into the contest, and wrote this about her daughter, "She was terrified. She was not supposed to be a single mom or a widow at the age of 28. She has sacrificed her career and any luxuries for Leo."
As the winner of our makeover contest, Katie got a gift certificate to Macy's. She also got a complete makeover at Salon Cielo in East Aurora. The salon team of Jeanie, Jessica and Maria gave Katie an airbrushed makeup makeover, a hair cut and color, and a manicure and pedicure.
