A mother and daughter are dead following an apparent murder-suicide.

Buffalo Police say they got a call from police in Cranberry Township, Pennsylvania, after they found 55-year-old Hannah Lilien dead in room at the Red Roof Inn early Wednesday afternoon. Cranberry Police say she died from self-inflicted wounds that didn't involve a gun.

Cranberry Township is about 15 miles outside of Pittsburgh and 115 miles from Buffalo, but based on other evidence in the room, officers asked Buffalo Police to check on that Lilien's mother.

When Buffalo Police arrived at the home on Cunard Road in North Buffalo about an hour later, they found 85-year-old Rose Lilien dead. Police say she was the victim of a homicide.

Police say they shared the home on Cunard Road.
