A Killbuck woman is facing charges after she injured her four-month-old child, according to the Cattaraugus County Sheriff's Office.
Makayla Mix, 23, was taken into custody on charges of assault and endangering the welfare of a child. The child's current condition is unknown.
Investigators say the incident took place on August 3rd.
Mix was arraigned in the Town of Great Valley Court and was taken to the Cattaraugus County Jail on $50,000 cash bail.
