Memorial Day service honors Amherst veterans

AMVETS Post 449 held its annual Memorial Day service today to honor veterans from past wars as well as men and women now serving in the military.
They also honored various Amherst veterans who died during the past year.
Following the service, a luncheon reception was held for those in attendance.
