The children in the Foster family of Lockport may not all look alike, but they are definitely family.
Megan and Michael Foster call their three biological children their "homegrown" children. They are Clay, Charis and Mikayla. They've adopted three more-- Matthias, Abraham and Fen-- from Ethiopia and China. The three boys and three girls now crowd around this family of eight's dinner table every night, and the Fosters say their family's experiences are probably very similar to most other families.
