The person in question in connection with several car thefts in the Town of Concord this past May has been arrested.

Deputies say on May 6 there was a report of car larcenies where money, tools, and credit cards were taken from cars.

During the investigation, detectives say they found the suspect would check doors and enter unlocked cars. Evidence from investigations led detectives to Juan Rodriguez, 41.

Erie County Sheriff's Office says Rodriguez brought a 15-year-old with him during the break-ins.

Officials say Rodriguez was arrested on October 4 at the Erie County Holding Center where he was being held for charges from the Buffalo Police Department.

According to the Sheriff's Office, Rodriguez was charged with felony grand larceny, petit larceny, and endangering the welfare of a child.

Local law enforcement agencies are investigating similar incidents and believe Rodriguez is expected to be involved in those as well.

Rodriguez remains in the holding center on $50,000 bond or $5,000 bail, according to officials.

The Erie County Sheriff's Office reminds citizens to take valuable items out of their cars and to lock their doors.
