A 33-year-old Buffalo man was walking too close to the edge, when he fell 60 feet down into Niagara Gorge, Niagara Falls fire fighters say.
The man fractured his right leg, and his left ankle, and also cut his head, firefighters tell us.
Rescuers lifted the man up in a basket, then AMR brought him to Erie County Medical Center, responders say.
At the time, that man was reportedly walking with his girlfriend along the path near Whirlpool and Ashland.
His name has still not been released.
