Late Friday night Deputies from the Chautauqua County Sheriff's Office responded to a report of a snowmobile and vehicle colliding.
Deputies arrived at the scene on Stockton Hartfield Road in the Town of Chautauqua just after 10 p.m. An investigation revealed 35-year-old Gregory Auge of Sherman failed to yield the right of way on a snowmobile while crossing the roadway on trail 4E, according to officials.
The vehicle, operated by 23-year-old Joshua Luce of Forestville, was headed eastbound on Stockton Hartfield Road when he collided with Auge, throwing him from the snowmobile.
Mayville Rescue transported Auge for his injuries.
There are no charges to report at this time.
