On Saturday, around 10:17 p.m. the Chautauqua County Sheriff's Office received a complaint of a vehicle headed the wrong way on I-86.
Other complaints revealed the vehicle in question exited I-86 and was headed westbound on Route 349, towards the Village of Mayville.
Deputies say they found the vehicle parked on a sidewalk on South Erie Street.
The driver, James Murphy, 47 of Fredonia allegedly was intoxicated. Upon further investigation, it of a that a person under the age of 16 was traveling in the vehicle with Murphy.
He has a previous conviction of a DWI in the past ten years, which made his arrest a felony. Murphy's driver's license was also revoked.
Murphy is facing charges of Felony DWI, Felony Aggravated DWI with a child less than 16-years-old and Aggravated Unlicensed Operation in the 1st degree.
He's being held at the Chautauqua County Jail pending arraignment.
