A Lockport man was arrested on Friday after a crash in the Kenyon's parking lot on Robinson Road in Lockport.

Troopers investigating the crash say the operator was identified as 63-year-old Jay Penman of Lockport. Troopers traveled to Penman's house and report he showed signs of intoxication when they arrived. Penman refused field sobriety tests. He was arrested at his residence and taken to the state police barracks in Lockport for processing. Once there, he submitted to a breathalyzer test, which recorded a .12% BAC.

Penman was released on traffic tickets for driving while intoxicated and leaving the scene of a property damage accident. He is scheduled to answer to those tickets in Town of Lockport Court.
