Lewiston Mayor Retires After Nearly 16 Years

Lewiston, NY (WKBW) -- Niagara Falls native Richard Soluri ran for Mayor of Lewiston in 1993, and won. And has won every election since.

Soluri ran the Village of Lewiston for nearly 16 years, and many would agree that there has been much improvement.

It isn't unusual to see the Mayor walking Center Street everyday picking up trash and talking with tourists. And though his time on the job is ending, it's doubtful that those activities will change.
