Buffalo, NY (WKBW) -- Members of the Saint Francis High School soccer team donated a check for $400 to the Roswell Park Alliance Foundation Thursday.

The money was raised by the team to help support breast cancer research. They collected the cash during a game last month where breast cancer ribbons were sold.

The cause hits close to home for the team as one of the players' mother is currently battling the disease.
